Spring Show - April 25th 2009
Unusually it was a bright sunny day (it usually rains) which seemed to put everyone in a happy mood for the first of our Leeds shows this year. Our constant stream of visitors kept the show busy all day, and closing time arrived all too quickly. It's a real meeting place for enthusiasts, friends and stallholders, for some of whom it's the only show in the North of England that they attend. From the main entrance it was hard to see the end of the queue at opening time!
Our sales table for the BBC Children in Need Appeal was well supported as usual and raised £409. Brilliant, and thanks to visitors for donations brought to the show.
Some comments received after the show:
We have just got home from your show today and have to congratulate you on a marvellous show. Good venue, parking, cafe and well, the show was superb. The best in the area. Our first visit. Thanks again for a great day

I had a lovely day at the show. I have been coming to it for some time now. It is my favourite show and I look forward to the next one in November. It has the best catering facilities of all the shows I have been to, which makes for a nice day too.

Hi Doreen,
Just a note to say how much I enjoyed doing the Pudsey fair, first time there. I was so impressed with the lovely atmosphere, friendly stallholders and lovely people through the doors. I will be back. see you at Stafford.
