     Spring  Show 2008   ~   Saturday April 19th

What a busy day we had!. The long queue at opening time soon filled the exhibition rooms and  the show was  packed until closing time. Our visitors came from 22 English counties, and much further afield - Wales, Scotland,  Germany, Spain, Japan and Australia!  A real international day! They were offered a magnificent choice of miniatures to add to their collections, and judging by the armfuls of bags being carried out as people left, they had found plenty to tempt.

BBC CHILDREN IN NEED APPEAL

Thanks to the wonderful volunteer team on this stand and to those visitors who supported us by either donating or buying miniatures, we raised £445.
New BBC Children in Need Pudsey and logo from 2007

                                    FREE PRIZE DRAW
The   wonderful hamper of accessory kits and DIY bits worth  £100 donated by The Craft Pack Company was won by Audrey Baxter from Durham, who was quite overcome by her luck!  Second prize of  a £25 Voucher kindly donated by Georgina John  of Heritage Homes dolls house shop in Nantwich, Cheshire was won by Shelagh Edward from Harrogate.

If you missed this show, don't forget you can join us at the next one on November 8th. Hope to see you there.
